Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using any Saral app ("App" or "Apps"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Apps.

These Terms apply to all users of Saral Apps worldwide, including visitors, users, and others who access the Apps.

2. Apps covered

These Terms govern all Android apps published by Saral on the Google Play Store, including ScanLek, Safe Space, PocketPDF, ShubhKaard, RangSetu, DesiMeme, QuickReel, ShabdGo, Sarkari Typing, Aaj ka Bhav, and any future apps published under the Saral developer account.

3. License to use

Saral grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Apps for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Apps or any part thereof.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Apps.
• Rent, lease, or sublicense the Apps.
• Use the Apps for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

4. Free features and paid upgrades

All core features of Saral Apps are available for free with advertising. Some Apps offer an optional one-time paid upgrade ("Pro" or "Plus") that removes ads and/or unlocks additional features.

Payments

Paid upgrades are processed by Google Play Billing. By making a purchase, you also agree to Google Play's Terms of Service.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play. You may request a refund through the Google Play Store within the window permitted by Google. We do not process refunds directly.

No subscriptions

Saral Apps do not offer subscription purchases. All paid upgrades are one-time payments with no recurring charges.

5. Advertising

Free versions of Saral Apps display advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads are clearly identified as advertisements and are never placed in a way that obstructs core app functionality or uses deceptive close buttons. By using the free version of the Apps, you consent to the display of advertisements.

6. User-generated content

Some Apps allow you to create content (memes, greeting cards, videos, typed documents). You retain full ownership of the content you create using Saral Apps. We do not claim any rights over your content.

You are solely responsible for any content you create and share. You agree not to create content that:

• Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or illegal under applicable law.
• Violates the privacy or rights of any individual.

7. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Apps to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the Apps or servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Apps or related systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Apps.
• Spread misinformation, spam, or malicious content.

8. Third-party services

The Apps use the following third-party services, which have their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google Play Services
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config)
• Google AdMob
• Google Play Billing
• Google Gemini API (RangSetu only)

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Apps are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• The results obtained from using the Apps will be accurate or reliable.
• Any errors in the Apps will be corrected.

Commodity and price data displayed by Aaj ka Bhav is sourced from publicly available information and is provided for reference only. It should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Saral and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Apps.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Intellectual property

The Apps, including all software, design, graphics, text, and other content (excluding content you create), are owned by Saral and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"Saral", the Saral logo, and all individual app names (ScanLek, Safe Space, PocketPDF, etc.) are trademarks of Saral. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Apps at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Apps ends immediately.

You may stop using the Apps at any time by uninstalling them from your device.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Apps shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify users through a notice within the App or on the Play Store listing. Your continued use of the Apps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
